Lindsey and I had the wonderful opportunity to visit the Atlas Concorde’s brand new design/tile showroom and manufacturing facility in Nashville, Tennessee. Thanks to BPI and our local rep Melinda Kenning, we had a great trip learning all about their company and products. We would love to share our experience with you!
ABOUT ATLAS CONCORDE
In 1969, Atlas Concorde started Gruppo Concorde, the largest Italian ceramic tile group in Europe. Atlas Concorde is an internationally recognized company when it comes to Italian tile design and production. Atlas strengthened their presence when they introduced Atlas Concorde USA. Their mission is to:
“provide interior designers, architects and the most demanding customers with ceramic solutions suitable for every destination of use, ensuring an aesthetic appeal that is in line with market needs and, at the same time, combine them with excellent technical performance.”

PLANT TOUR
The factory itself was very impressive. Covering over 175,000 square feet, it was amazing to get a behind the scenes look on how their manufacturing process works. Previously, all of their tile was imported from Italy, with their new plant here in the US they are able to cut down on lead times, manufacturing and shipping costs and get products to customers faster than ever! Fun Fact: the total time from minerals to packaged tile is 1-2 days!
It’s always a refreshing opportunity to step out of the office and get new inspiration on products for upcoming projects; both residential and commercial. Of course, we had to explore the city while were there! How could a group of rowdy Texans not enjoy the downtown Nashville experience?!
