Focal Point:
A Point of Interest,  Center of Activity, A Feature that Attracts Attention

When designing clubhouses we are always tasked with creating a strong focal point. Some are traditional in nature, while others lean toward the modern statement. Usually you will find a fireplace or TV on this wall. Some have seated hearths while others have none at all. Even in Texas, fireplaces still rule the room. How you dress it up makes all the difference. Stone, tile, slick or textured, bland or bold. . . So many choices. Either way they are always saying “Look at me!”

Other elements contributing to the look are a signature chandelier and area rug. These help anchor the seating are and define the grouping.
