a new environment for 360 partners…

No one likes the actual ‘moving’ part of a move but having a space like this to move into would certainly make the process more exciting! This office in northwest Austin was recently given an overdue face-lift and now has a life of its own as a result.

PPDS was delighted to assist 360 Partners in designing their new corporate headquarters. We provided a space plan that made sense with the company’s team-style approach, utilizing groupings of workstations that were separated but not isolated. The open feeling can be attributed to steps of partial height walls that open to the main corridor as well provide as access to natural lighting through full height glass at the perimeter offices.

Once the layout was finalized, we moved on to one of the more colorful design development phases we’ve had in a while. Goals for the interior included embracing an energetic aesthetic, which would be both interesting to the employees and engaging to visiting clients. The use of color throughout the space is certainly fun but it also serves to identify different working teams. Each team area has a single accent color while all three colors are combined in common areas.

Unexpected details, such as certain carpet tiles, seemingly cut through walls while large scale accent digits visually spill over to other partitions, playfully giving a sense of the company’s culture around every turn.

Special thanks to Jeff Hoogendam and Jim McKinley of 360 Partners for the opportunity to work with you, and to John Faseler and the General Contractor team with Qual-Con for translating our vision into reality!
