Celebrity Homes PPDS Designers Admire Most

Everyone loves a sneak peek into celebrity homes! It’s fun to see some of the luxurious and extreme designs found in the penthouses, lofts, and mansions of the world’s top stars. The PPDS design team researched some of their favorite celebrities and wanted to share which home they admire most and draw design inspiration from, as well as a reflection of their personal style. There are so many homes to choose from… which one is right for you?

1) Janna: Steve Martin’s Santa Barbara Residence

My favorite celebrity home is Steve Martin’s Santa Barbara residence. The cool serene concrete sets up nicely with modern furniture or antiques. It also is the perfect backdrop for a serious art collection. The contrast between the building materials and the environment in which it is placed is also very attractive. The home embraces the magnificent views of the rolling hills, vineyards and ocean. This house could adapt to any style of furnishings. I like the strength of the concrete and soothingness of the environment. (Image Source: Curbed)

2) Laura: Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber’s New York City Apartment

Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber’s New York City Apartment has a relaxed contemporary style that radiates positive energy. I am personally drawn to this type of design because each room and piece of furniture looks like it has an amazing story to tell. I appreciate the vintage light fixtures and eclectic collection of art and accessories the design team selected to honor the past and define a cultured look that is luxurious but not stuffy.  The clean white walls mixed with various colors, patterns, and textures celebrates the owners’personal tastes while remaining timeless. 3) Lindsey: Adam Levine’s Previous Los Angeles Home

Moody, Sophisticated, Eclectic; all words I would use to describe the previous home of Adam Levine, Maroon 5 front man. Although the dark walls give this home a masculine vibe, there is also a delicate and artistic design style. Lush textiles and rugs, iconic furniture pieces, carefully displayed artwork, and musical instruments in every corner work together to add interest and style. Finding inspiration in both the vintage and the modern worlds, this home creates a unique and quietly personal window into this musician’s life. (Image Source: Architectural Digest)

4) Kendall: Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady’s Los Angeles Estate

Right off the bat, before searching for my celebrity dream home I wrote down a few words that pin point my personal style; comfortable, inviting, simple, sophisticated with a touch of glamour! Gisele Bündchen & Tom Brady’s Los Angeles Estate brilliantly executes traditional design elements with updated modern influences creating an atmosphere that’s one-of-a-kind. I like how the neutral color scheme compliments the building materials. Bringing in natural light, reclaimed ceiling beams and antiqued wood floors adds a warm touch throughout. Last but not least, how could you turn down that picturesque view of the Pacific Ocean?! (Image Source: Architectural Digest)

Decisions, decisions…

Now that you’ve taken a good look at all four of our Celebrity Houses, which one is your favorite?! Which one would you spend your millions on?  Do you have another celebrity dream home in mind? We’d love to hear from you!
