Seeking out Christmas lights is a great, family-friendly activity for the holiday season! This winter, finding awe-inspiring light displays is a little more difficult than usual, since Austin’s famed Trail of Lights is taking the year off due to budget cuts, and the 37th Street light display isn’t quite what it used to be. Fortunately, there are plenty of other light displays for your family to enjoy, especially if you’re willing to drive a little!
1.) Mozart’s Coffee Roasters creates the perfect ambiance to sip hot chocolate and enjoy some holiday lights.
2.) Load up your car for Santa’s Ranch Drive Thru near San Marcos. The price is $18 per car with the online coupon.
3.) The Marble Falls Christmas Walkway of Lights features over a million sparkling bulbs!
4.) One man’s spectular music-timed Christmas light display draws visitors from all over to his house in Round Rock. See a KVUE news story about it here.
5.) If you’re already in the area, don’t forget to visit the San Antonio Riverwalk to see some beautiful lights!
6.) Ed Clark’s elaborate Christmas display at 14106 Short Horn St, San Antonio is truly one of a kind.
7.) The city of Windcrest is hosting its annual Windcrest Light-Up, where residents compete to have the most elaborate light display.
8.) Cuero’s Christmas in the Park is another small town light display worth visiting if you are in the area.
9.) The city of Fredericksburg covers some of its beautiful historic homes with glowing lights and festive decorations.
Here’s wishing you a safe and happy holiday season!

Thanks so much for posting a story on our Christmas lights on your website. My family got a real kick out of it. Last year the traffic was out of control with lines over a half mile, and over an hour long. Out of courtesy to my neighbors I’m trying to avoid this for this year. I writing to ask if you could do a minor edit to the story to just not include our home address.

“4.) One man’s spectular music-timed Christmas light display draws visitors from all over to his house on 2708 Collingwood Drive in Roundrock. See a KVUE news story about it here.”
I would really appreciate the edit.
Thank-you.
